BBA Photography Prize at Berlin Photo Week 2021

BBA Gallery exhibits a selection of the most compelling, memorable and thought-provoking fine art photographers from their on-going open call for BBA Photography Prize. As the BBA Photography Prize continues to grow and establish international recognition, they are pleased to inform that this year, BBA are joined at Berlin Photo Week by more than sixty photographers whose works are present in both physical and digital format. This marks the second year of collaboration between BBA Gallery and Berlin Photo Week as we continue to grow both individually and as partners.

The selection includes the previous winners from 2019 - 2021 as well as applicants from the on-going open call for the BBA Photography Prize 2021. The thirst for a wide variety of subjects and search for alternative photographic formats is reflected in the open call where BBA welcomes all photographers, regardless of background, discipline or talent. The Berlin Photo Week participants, chosen from the early deadline entries, were selected on the grounds of visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship and creativity — all the while subverting categories on their way — qualities that BBA highly value. With a diverse range of works, everyone’s sure to find their favourite.
